A U of N course led by the YWAM Bangalore Mobile Evangelism Ministry (MEM).
The Practical Missions Seminar is a three week YWAM U of N Bangalore seminar with an emphasis on missions and evangelism in India. The seminar will include some outreach so that seminar participants can also experience “learning by doing.” The seminar will include some outreach with children’s ministry and medical camp with a mobile medical clinic. The purpose of the school is to give training and vision for missions in India, and to combine practical helps and other strategies further the gospel in Karnataka and beyond.
Lecture topics will include
* Children’s Ministry
* Evangelism & Apologetics
* Basic Medical care for outreach
* Missions history & principles – especially in India
* Raising a strong prayer and financial support team
* Calling and Destiny
* Utilizing your spiritual gifts & leadership skills
* Practical missions outreach skills – and more!
Also included will be times of intercession, worship, small group discussions, and assignments such as book reports, journaling and public speaking practice. Students will not only have chances to participate but also to lead in different areas. The school will be based in Bangalore, run by YWAM’s Mobile Evangelism Ministry (MEM). The outreach times will be in areas near Bangalore.
Following the PMC, interested graduates will be given opportunities for further medium term or long term work with YWAM in India. Our goal will be to help each student to find the ministry and position that best fits his or her gifts and calling.
Cost: C Nations (such as those from India) - Rs 2500 - A & B Nations – $150 Price includes food and accommodation. Those who have their own accommodation can participate at a lesser price.
